Following the successful completion of the Textile Sector Green Practices training, we are pleased to announce the second part of the Regional Awareness Training on Green Practices on 16 & 17 for the Agri-Processing Sector. The training is an initiative led by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and delivered by Integral RISE.

This tailored training is designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) engaged in export activities, has an annual turnover exceeding EUR 500,000,maximum of 500 Employees and operating across Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan, Morocco, and Lebanon, with the aim of enhancing sustainability practices and improving operational efficiency in the agri-processing sector.

What to Expect!

Participants will gain hands-on knowledge and tools on:

●      Understanding sustainability export-related requirements

●      Implementing energy and water audits for operational cost savings and enhanced product greening

●      Understanding and applying energy management systems (ISO 50001)

●      Measuring and reporting greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) and carbon footprint of products

●      Identifying cost-saving, efficiency-boosting, and compliance-driven opportunities

This capacity-building training is offered at no cost to participants, supporting local businesses to align with international sustainability standards and access global markets. After this training, your company can receive the support of the EBRD in the implementation of the various sustainability-related projects. In addition, EBRD can support the participating companies via connecting them to highly reputable service providers who can provide sustainability-related services.

The program will consist of interactive online sessions, including expert-led presentations, real-life case studies, and practical exercises—all adapted to the specific challenges and opportunities within agri-processing. Candidates with management positions or senior engineering managers are recommended to represent your company in this training.
